Another year has gone by, and we continue to receive high marks from collision repair shops. According to the 2024 CRASH Network Insurer’s Report Card, Acuity is the #6 insurance company out of 87 ranked. Acuity works with auto repair professionals at repair shops to ensure your vehicle has quality repairs and provides fast payments to get the work done efficiently.

CRASH Network surveyed over 1,000 collision repair shops across the country. Shops were asked to look at the policies, attitudes, and payment practices of the insurers. Since they work with insurance companies every day, they can give honest answers about which insurers pressure them to use cut-rate parts, which refuse to pay for work needed to ensure high-quality repairs, or which add unnecessary delays to the repair and claims process.

Collision repair professionals are the perfect people to determine the easiest insurance companies to work with because they work with them daily, whereas consumers average only one accident every ten years.

Now, you may wonder why it matters. Don’t all insurance companies work well with auto repair shops? Spoiler alert: No—in fact, none of the 10 largest insurance companies ranked in the top 40.

At Acuity, we:

  • Listen to the repair professionals and don’t dictate how your car should be fixed.
  • Don’t cut corners with cheap replacement parts and instead use the parts designed for your vehicle.
  • Avoid unnecessary delays and approvals to get the process started.
  • Don’t cut costs when it comes to the level of service your car needs.
  • Pride ourselves on providing exceptional claim service.

As a mutual insurance company, we work for our policyholders since we don't have stockholders to please. We focus on creating policies that will satisfy our customers and rebuild their shattered lives in the event of an accident.
