It’s a new year and you may be thinking some rooms in your home/apartment/condo need a fresh look. Even if your New Year's resolution was to save more money, you can still do a little light redecorating!

  1. Change it out. Changing out the hardware on cabinets and doors can immediately give a room an updated look and feel. While hardware can be expensive, some research and savvy shopping can make the cost more reasonable.
  2. Mix it up. Consider swapping or adding a rug, hanging a new picture, or incorporating a mirror. Any of those changes can mix up the style of a room and give it a new look. As a bonus, mirrors often make a room feel bigger than it is.
  3. Make it pop. Sometimes all a room needs is a pop of color. You can add a plant, switch your curtains or window treatments, or even repaint. None of those changes have to be expensive. If you haven’t already, you may be able to paint just one wall to have an accent wall of color.

Redecorating doesn’t have to be overwhelming or costly. Small, simple changes can make a big impact. If you are looking for a room rebirth, we hope these simple tips will help you get started.
