March CSR of the Month - Itilya Lang

At Distinctive Insurance, Itilya Lang is known for her professionalism and dedication to customer service.

“Itilya is one of the most committed employees I have ever been around,” says Vance Jolley, Principal of the Las Vegas, Nevada-based agency. “She takes immense pride in her work and refuses to offer her clients and teammates anything less than her best. Even though she arrived at Distinctive with an impressive resume and valuable set of skills, that has not stopped her from developing in significant ways both professionally and personally.”

Those qualities have earned Itilya industry recognition. She was named the 2020 Outstanding CSR of the Year for Nevada by The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research—congratulations!

Itilya holds the CISR designation and has been with Distinctive since 2017. She has been in the insurance industry since 1996. As Senior Account Manager, she works with the agency’s commercial lines clients and says that responsiveness is the key to great customer service. 

“Answering phones quickly, getting things that they need done right away, keeping people updated when something is going to take a while—just guiding customers through the process is what customers appreciate,” she says, adding that everyone at Distinctive Insurance is committed to service excellence.

“We are a collaborative team,” she says. “We work well together, communicate with each other constantly, and are always willing to step in and help each other out.”
