In her role as Claims Advocate, Katrina Dennis helps coordinate the claim process and facilitate communication between clients of Mountain West Insurance and the agency’s insurance carriers. It’s a role that requires compassion, understanding, and commitment to detail—all qualities that define Katrina’s customer service.

 

“I have worked with Katrina for about 15 years and have always known her to be very client-oriented, professional, and just a nice person. She has an excellent understanding of the claims process and is truly an advocate for our clients. I count her as one of my very good friends,” says Lynn Mintz, Katrina’s coworker and Manager of the Select Business Unit at Mountain West. 

 

Katrina has worked in the agency’s Farmington, New Mexico, office since 2017. She says that in addition to getting claims handled quickly, customers appreciate having a shoulder to lean on during a stressful time.

 

“In claims, you are helping good people who are having bad days,” Katrina says. “Sometimes they just need someone to listen to—it sounds simple, but it’s very important.”

 

Katrina enjoys being able to help people in her role and says that all the staff at Mountain West pull together to deliver great customer service.

 

“I work with top-of-the line people, which not only helps us produce the best results for clients, but makes my work enjoyable,” she says. “I appreciate the relationships I’ve built and the friends I’ve made over the years.”
