CSR of the Month - Cindy Smith

Customers of Robins Insurance can count on Mindy Smith to deliver service that goes above and beyond. 

“One of our core values at Robins Insurance is to ‘Exceed Client Expectations,’ and Mindy is a prime example of someone who lives that value every day. I can’t tell you how many insureds call or email just to let me know what a pleasure it is to work with Mindy,” says Van Robins, President of the Nashville, Tennessee-based agency. 

“Mindy has amazing communication skills and builds great relationships with our insureds and Acuity underwriters. That’s one of the reasons why we place so much business with Acuity,” says agency Vice President Jake Linkous, adding that Mindy recently earned a promotion to Commercial Lines Account Executive.

“Mindy is going to help lead our niche-driven habitational team with new business, renewals, and carrier placement. It’s a well-deserved promotion and I’m excited to see her continued growth within Robins Insurance,” he says. 

Mindy held both account manager and underwriting roles at insurance carriers before joining Robins Insurance in 2018.

“The key to success on both the agency side and the carrier side is earning trust and treating people how you would want to be treated,” Mindy says. “On the agency side, it’s about educating customers on the markets and products and being diligent about responding to clients timely and professionally.”

Mindy enjoys working in the habitational market. “I love looking at properties! I also am a very detailed person who loves digging into accounts and learning about them,” she says, adding that her colleagues at Robins Insurance share a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

“Robins Insurance is one the best places I’ve ever worked. There’s a family atmosphere here where everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand and we all work well together,” she says.
