Acuity Earns Company of the Year, Rep of the Year Honors

We are honored to have received the Company of Excellence Award from the Professional Insurance Agents of Arkansas and congratulate Territory Director Courtney Fenske for being named Marketing Representative of Excellence.

Company of the Year

The Company of Excellence Award is PIA Arkansas’ highest annual recognition, given to a company that demonstrates true partnership and commitment to independent agents and the agency distribution system. And incredibly, we earned the award in our first year in the state!

“In a state in need of carrier options, Acuity showed up and showed out, allowing agents the ability to help clients at a high level. In a state where it would have been easy to get a few months in, experience a few of our storms, and jump ship, Acuity stayed. And when it came time to start paying claims, Acuity fulfilled their promise to customers without hesitation and with ease. They also came in and hired one of Arkansas' best and brightest in Courtney Fenske as Territory Director for the state,” says Holden Smith, PIA Arkansas President and Owner of Lennox Insurance.

Person of the Year

Courtney Fenske’s selection as Marketing Representative of Excellence by PIA Arkansas recognizes her professionalism, outstanding ability, and her support of independent insurance agents.

“Courtney is a true powerhouse in her field. Starting her career on the agency side before transitioning to the carrier side, her ability to see things from both sides of the desk truly makes her an expert in her role,” says Mary Katherine Henderson, President of the PIA Arkansas’ Young Insurance Professionals Board of Directors and Marketing Director of Cross Pointe Insurance Advisors, LLC.

An Arkansas native with over 10 years of industry experience, Courtney began her career as an Account Manager for an independent agency in the state. She transitioned to the carrier side of the business in 2019 and joined Acuity in 2022 in preparation for our entry into Arkansas. Courtney was also named Field Representative of the Year by the Big I Arkansas in 2021.

“I enjoy being a Territory Director because it allows me to build relationships that will last throughout my career and beyond,” Courtney says. “I am proud to help Acuity build strong partnerships with agents throughout Arkansas and incredibly honored to be named the Company Person of the Year by PIA Arkansas.”
