“Over the years, we have collected a wide array of Acuity-branded apparel and other items, gifts, and miscellaneous inventory that has become obsolete with the change to our new corporate logo and branding,” said Monica Rincon, Acuity Customer Relations Specialist. “Having a rummage sale allowed us to put these items to good use, save them from going into a landfill, and raise money for a good cause. It was a win-win-win event.”
The sale also reflects Acuity’s philosophy of corporate philanthropy and continued support for charitable causes. Acuity donates 300 percent of what other corporations its size give to charity, including contributions of nearly $2 million in 2016 alone to worthy organizations.
