KIDSXPLAIN INSURANCE CONTEST 2018
Insurance is one of those grown-up responsibilities most kids don’t even think about. So, what do kids know about insurance and how it works? We asked you to send us videos of your kids explaining insurance and we received some great entries.

All eligible entries will be evaluated and scored by the Contest judges based on the following criteria:
The entry with the highest total score in each age category will be deemed the First Place Winner in that category. The entry with the second highest score in each age category will be deemed the Second Place Winner in that category. Two Judges' Choice winners will be selected from remaining entries across all age groups who best depict the spirit of the contest. In the event of a tie, the entry with the highest score for originality followed by creativity will be deemed the winner from among all tying entries. Winner will be notified on or before August 17, 2018.

Judges' Choice
Acuity, A Mutual Insurance Company will use reasonable best efforts to notify the winners. In the event a winner cannot be located within five days of the judging period, the winner shall forfeit the prize and we may elect another winner. If the winner is 18 years or older, he/she must submit a completed W-9 prior to claiming the prize. If the winner is younger than 18 years of age, the winner's parent or guardian must submit a completed W-9 prior to winner claiming a prize. Instructions can be found here.

No, you do not need to be an Acuity insured to have your child enter a video. This contest is open to all legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. Policyholder status has no bearing on the judging process. The only people who cannot enter are employees of Acuity, A Mutual Insurance Company, and their children.

No, any standard video format will work. Just make sure the length is 1 minute or less.
There can be multiple entries from a single household as long as there is only one entry per contestant.
