Acuity announced that it plans to hire more than 130 employees in 2022, with the majority of hires coming from new openings and positions. In the past eight years alone, the insurer has hired more than 1,000 people.
“Our common purpose is centered on our family of employees, agents, and customers, and our family continues to grow,” said Ben Salzmann, Acuity President and CEO. “As we continue to expand and get even stronger, we are bringing new people into the fold and seeing long-term employees capitalize on new job opportunities. That is so exciting to see and something we can all be proud of.”
“We are committed to offering fulfilling careers to people of all backgrounds and levels of experience, and we offer an employee-focused work environment that is second to none,” said Joan Ravanelli Miller, Acuity General Counsel and Vice President - Human Resources.
Acuity’s hiring is the result of continued business growth and expansion. The insurer has doubled its revenue in the past eight years and has grown seven-fold over the past 20 years. In 2021, Acuity surpassed $3 billion in assets and $6 billion in surplus for the first time in the company’s history and is on track to finish the year with over $2 billion in written premium.
Job openings at Acuity will span nearly every area of the company and offer competitive salaries and outstanding benefits. The insurer plans to hire analysts, underwriters, claims representatives, programmers, loss control representatives, clerks, specialist consultants, and more.
