Santa may not need fall protection when he’s on the roof, but construction workers sure do! Neither the rooftop worker nor any of his colleagues hidden behind the end truss are wearing any sort of fall protection. Definitely unsafe!

Can I get a lift! There’s the right tool for the job, and then there’s this approach. It’s never a good idea to stand in a loader bucket rather than using a proper lift. Additionally, there are overhead lines, no fall protection, and no traffic control devices—and it appears the vehicle being used is running, judging by the exhaust smoke seen in the picture. Dangerous!

Have faith! This church needed some roof repairs. However, the contractor’s approach of stacking ladders on top of each other, rather than using a boom or cherry picker, isn’t the safest approach. To “top” it off, the uppermost worker has no fall protection equipment.

A risky ride. From the unsecured worker riding atop the roof to the one hanging from the driver’s door, this building-moving expedition is certainly a risky ride! Astute observers will also note the truck is missing flashers and warning lights required for transporting this oversized cargo.
