Acuity Insurance announced that, at a Town Hall meeting of its staff, employees determined the distribution of a special year-end contribution of a half-million dollars among six different organizations. Those organizations included Conquer Cancer Foundation, Feeding America, Safe Harbor of Sheboygan County, The Salvation Army, Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, and Mental Health America.
Acuity Insurance’s Employee Activity Committee (EAC) wrapped up its 2017 gift drive in connection with the Sheboygan County Department of Health and Human Services. Acuity staff members donated hundreds of toys, clothes, and household items for children and adults throughout the county, as well as nearly $1,200 in cash and gift cards.
On October 27, Acuity Insurance hosted four international guests from the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). Mr. Sameera Kumar Anthapur Gopalakrishna, Dr. Hem Himanshu Dholakia, Dr. Suresh Jain, and Mr. Sumit Sharma, all from India, along with their U.S. State Department liaison, toured Acuity’s headquarters facilities to learn about how the company addressed air quality regulations and other sustainability issues in its recently completed expansion project.
